Just watched the Norwegian catastrophe film Bolgen.
I really liked the build-up to the catastrophe and the catastrophe itself. Great tension, and great special effects!
Afterwards, where the hero and heroine try to find each other, the film just goes into complete Hollywood cliche mode. A tender embrace underwater? "Dramatic" and 100% unrealistic CPR scene? Strength powered by family love? Sigh.
I was a lot more interested in follwing the mountain watch people, whom we never cut back to in the last thirty minutes.
And all I was thinking was: where is the military????? Shouldn't they be on the scene the minute the alarm went off?
