kribbanMalin is away at work until 10 pm tonight. That is seven hours from now. I have just come home from town where I, using the ever so helpful coupon-book we bought last year, got myself two large pastasalads with bread and dressing for only 5 Euros. Yay for coupons! I also bought a bottle of passionfruit mineral water so now I'm all set for a day of writing! For the first time in a long time I actually feel excited about both Chasing Ian and Scarred. I have other stuff to do, write e-mail to my friend Lennie, finish writing feedback to Pecos for the last 2 chapters of Destiny and Design, and write an UA, (the latter I definitely have to do today, I think) but I will ignore those for now and simply indulge myself in my stories and the great food. Man I'm hungry. I didn't eat any breakfast as usual and I woke up 4 hours ago.
As for school we have got an assignment to make a fanzine. It can be as narrow as you want it to be and it must be highly personal. I've chosen to work on my own and make a fanzine about petit chou. I met with the teacher yesterday and he said that I have to make it more personal or else it will be no different from a cookbook. He suggested I include the story of how I started baking them after 9/11 when Malin had CNN on all the time and we were so depressed I wanted to bake some pastry to cheer us up and my eye caught sight of the petit chou recipe in Malin's weight watcher's cookbook. I borrowed the school’s digital camera and took pictures when Malin and I baked petit chou and filled them. All the texts are also finished and next week I'll just have to assemble it all in Adobe InDesign. Squee! I love school! I hope I finish it in time. Now I will eat my food. One salad is with rost beef and one is with chicken and they both have spinage pasta, vegetables and sour cream dressing in them. Mmm!
