kribban | Kind of funny in retrospect

I was looking through old, really old, e-mails I had saved on my work server. One minute my ex and I were writing super cuuute e-mails about celebrating our 7th anniversary and how much we loved each other, and Five. Weeks. Later. it was "Hope you find an apartment soon!"

We're friends now, actually, and have been friends for years, and I wouldn't say I have any scars but I'm extremely wary of that intense, life-changing love because it can really fuck with your sense of self when it ends.

And living with someone? I couldn't even imagine losing my home again.
