warning: pimping ahead
Apr. 7th, 2003 10:02 pmWe saw the Time Machine, (yes the Simon Wells version with Guy Pearce - The Man Whose Name I Can Never Spell) for the second time this weekend. (Malin and I are in this DVD club that sends DVDs of your choice to your house in the mail for 250 SEK a month, totally legal, no bootleg copies or anything. You cane keep them for three days, you have two at a time and when you are done, you send them back free of charge and then they send you the next two films from the list you've made.)
Anyway, this weekend we re-saw the Time Machine and I just wanted to pimp it to you. Ok, so it's not the best film and story ever but the sheer beauty of it: the cinematography, the wonderful, amazing music, the astounding visual effects and the tale about the earth recovering from humanity. My favourite time travel is the first one: the evolution of human technology, and Malin's is the second: the earth's evolution, witch that she is.
Guy Pearce does a good job, I think, and Samantha Mumba (whom we've both adored ever since her first single) was good too, and beautiful! Also, on the DVD there were all trailers, of which the theatrical teaser was the most fun!!!!!
