Jul. 30th, 2003 11:02 pmHad weekly phone call with mom. She herself came up with the idea of giving me money when I told her about the salary situation. She also wants me to go to the philosophers' picnic and told me I had to ask them for money for the train if I didn't have it. She really wants me to socialize. ;-) UGH I just got a prank call from someone who wanted to have phone sex with me. >_< I hate people! Anyway, so that makes me feel better. It almost, but not quite, made up for something mom said.
Remember last week she talked about dressing like an adult? Well this weeks lesson is about living like an adult. She's apparently concerned about the numbers of movie posters we have on the walls and how dark colours our flat has. She asked how I would decorate my room when we get a three room apartment. I said with neat looking posters and various colours and then she said "but posters is something you have when you're a teenager." Apparently, when you become an adult you have to decorate conservatively and put away childish things such as movie posters. Since Malin and I love movies and have lots of posters (music posters too) everywhere they think our apartment is childish, I bet. I remember when Malin and I had first met they complained about how "immature" Malin was for her age. "When your mother was 24 she was married and pregnant" I remember my father saying.
