Quick update
Sep. 20th, 2003 10:30 am1. E-mail is gone, at least until Monday. So is Word which puts a damper on my plans to write on Chasing Ian instead of e-mailing. I do have a back up plan though.... *keeps fingers crossed* Will read listmail, at least the lotr_rps ones, on y!groups so I'll still be able to moderate. Posted an announcement on the list about my e-mail status. I'll check my own LJ every so often so use it if there's anything you want to ask or tell me. Please bear in mind however that this means that if I comment on an entry on your LJ and you comment on my comment I might not be able to catch it, so if you don't get a reply on it until Monday it's not because I don't care, all right? But I'll try to catch them all.
2. Have now worked one full week. I love it! It's great fun and I've learned a lot. There were lots of things I was still unsure about but I've managed to learn them all now. Yesterday I finally got it into my brain how to register meter readings in their very complicated invoice programme. Squee! I also tracked down a guy who had called me on Thursday to leave his reading which I had completely forgotten to register. I only had his reading and his name written down, NOT his customer number. With the help of our instructor I went through all customers with his name and checked their readings to see if they could be him. I called around and finally found him! Squee! Later the instructor said people have said I do really well, am nice on the phone and always work hard to solve problems. *smiles* I said it's I who create the problems in the first place and then she said they all do that from time to time and at least I solve mine in the end. LOL! Next week we've got a party/conference at this retreat. We get paid for 4 hours, as ususal, and we'll get lunch and dinner and there'll be some sort of gaming activities with the rest of the staff. Sounds cool.
3. Malin and I have gotten a Caller ID from my parents. That creep who never says anything called again a couple of times and I threatened him to call the phone company. I did and it turns out they take 800 SEK for tracking down a number. >_< Told my mom and then yesterday my dad called and said they'll give us 300 to buy a Caller ID called Anita which is what they have. I went to work via town and bought one there which Malin was a very good girl and installed last night without disrupting the broadband. I love it already! I just hope the creep doesn't have one of those numbers that doesn't show. I'll tell him off!
