Hello!!
I'm 24 now, only 6 more years till the Big 3-0!
Here is my day so far:
I woke up and Malin was cranky because she had only slept three hours, poor girl. She finally agreed to give me cake and brought it in, lit with candles, along with tea and my gift bag from the calender (filled with chocholate pralines) and a present which contained a box of After Eight. I also got a nice card. The cake was really nicely decorated with my name in cream. I called Clea, my co-worker's telephone and told her answering machine I would be in ten minutes after eight.
I arruved 8:14 and found a card from her on my keybord. Squee! She hugged me. Everyone congratulated me (that's been going on all day) and seemed very interested in the treats I had brought. I've felt excited all day.
The Yule Bord was scrumptious, absolutely laden with dishes (about 50!) and it was very festive and filled with people. The cafeteria was decorated very nicely. Yum! I drank my first Must of the season! Afterwards we went upstairs and had coffee and fruit, crackers with cheeze and candy. (I drank my Must, still.) We took a longer lunch. I invited Annelie, a woman who's worked with us on the farmers union campaign to share the cake and she was thrilled when she learned it was my birthday and hugged me. Everyone who heard congratulated me and she told everyone. When we were eating our candy she came and gave me a gift, a little radio they give to members of another Union. Squee! And everyone was so nice to me.
I love the radio! We'll have cake and biscuits now, to celebrate me! I hope they'll like what I bought!
I love this day so far!! And my co-worker Roland left after lunch to go on vacation until January 7th. I can feel the excitement in the air.
