We are online (thank god)

kribbanA of this morning our DSL has been restored. Malin called at 9 am to share the news.
Ever since the 15 minute break on Saturday (or was it sunday?) we have not had any internet access. The DSL people told us repeatedly over the phone it was our fault, that we had installed the equipment wrong, that our modem was broken etc. We spent about 2 hours calling them three times and waiting in phone queue this weekend...
They then told us we had to wait 2 days until they could send repair men and that we'd have to pay for it ourselves.
And then this morning, when the repairmen came it turned out to be nothing wrong on our end, or with our equipment. It was the signal station all along! So they fixed it. I told malin to call and make sure we don't get a bill.
Anyway, I have been crawling on the walls these past couple of days because I've been so frustrated! No internet, no reading fanfics or mailing, and two of my projects which I had finished during the holidays were in the outbox but unable to be sent to my beta. Bleh.
How annoying is that? And to top it off there was posted a new chappie of a vampire hobbit story I've been reading and i couldn't check it out! Growls. But now I'm back! I should go home now. I am so tired. Slept only five hours, bleh.
