Came home 30 minutes or so ago. Am writing this on my own computer, Malin's old one, which have now been fixed and returned to us after a year and which she has now set up for me so that it's working and running and in a network with her computer, the one I've been hogging for the past year!

It was nice to see family members though I was tired and annoyed at having to get up early, and all "real food" I got to eat was a cheese sandhich, a banana and a glass or orange juice - the rest was pastry. When I had arrived in Uppsala I read PoA until my aunt's train arrived. We chatted for fifteen minutes until Rickard came and picked us up and drove us to his house. After having said sandhich and cuddling Calle we left for church, met parents and Robert with wife plus a gazillions other relatives and guests.

The ceremony was very nice actually. The priest was the same who wed them and she made it very unusual and personal. When it was time to pour the water she said "Who here to pour the water? Rickard has a sister sitting over there." I think I blushed as I scrambled up and poured the (warm) water in to the basin.

Feeling a bit like Galadriel there!

I think she was trying to reconnect to the wedding where I got to read from the bible. Afterwards she urged us all to get up and come closer "Take a good look, I'm only doing this once!" After she had baptised him she picked him up and walked around with him so everyone could kiss him. "Here's your grandma...etc. We're all here to love you and teach you things." Then she walked him over to the cross and showed him how the church looks and told him he belongs there.

Afterwards there was coffee and treats at the student union's (where both Rickard and Susanne were active) big and fancy house. There was so much to eat that after we had all stuffed ourselves silly, Rickard gave me a big bag of buns and cookies to bring home. Walked with some relatives to the station where they took various trains home. I took a bus to Stockholm, a commuter train from there and on the bus home I saw my Clea but didn't approach her until we got off. Now I'm home and I'm just typing this up before I'm off to bed. Malin will be home in three hours and then we'll eat some nice food, eat the buns and drink the last wine and punch we have left.

Now for a Big and Important Announcement:

Malin is so wonderful! Not only did she set up my computer (which she is selling me very cheap) and install everything, but she also mailed over all my old mails and files (since my CD-ROM drive doesn't work right now) AND stayed up all night, creating folders and arranging everything neatly into them! Every single mail is ordered, all my fics and photos are where they should be. She didn't have to to this, but she did, just so that I shouldn't have to.

She also got up after two hours' sleep this morning to continue to work on it.

In Uppsala, I bought her a bouquet of tulips (different colours) and a nice card to thank her for all this, and when I come home I find that she has picked a nice colour theme for my computer and as wallpaper there's a beautiful screencap of Frodo hugging Gandalf which she made from her FOTR DVD.

Awww!

*Feels Loved*

The reason while it's an Announcement with capital A is because I always write about our fights, and I want you to know how good Malin treats me and some of the wonderful things she does for me. I was thinking today, that even if she will refuse to marry me and have kids with me, she still shows her love in other ways.
